Moving Support Online

In response to recent confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the Hamilton and Adamstown areas, we have decided to take the precautionary measure of changing the way we deliver support to our participants with The Space Newcastle. 

Where possible, our in-home and community support will continue, provided that these supports do not operate in at risk areas. For all other supports alternative arrangements will be made; primarily that programs will be moved to online platforms. 

We expect to be open as normal after a 2 week period, but we will continue to monitor health alerts before making a decision on how support will be delivered. 

During this 2 week period our buildings will be staffed and remain open to individuals who do not have somewhere safe to be. We can also arrange to provide in home support or community activities for participants who cannot stay home due to parents working or other home factors. 

Our staff will begin contacting participants to arrange access to our online platforms in the coming days.
